Content Formats

Social media platforms allow for content to be shared in many different ways. There are the traditional formats:

• Images
• Text
• Hyperlinks
• Video clips

These work exactly as you would imagine. However, social media is all about interaction, so you can also commonly share content in the form of:

• Polls
• Quizzes

While traditional content formats are great for sharing information, the aren’t interactive. Adding polls or quizzes to a social media profile provides a way for users to interact directly with you – either for fun, data collection, or in order to provide a service of some sort (perhaps you need to know the user’s requirements in order to recommend a product to them).
